It has always been a nice custom to welcome visitors to a town or village with colourful flowers. Therefore, as part of their ‘Natur Pur’ (pure nature) series, German manufacturer BUSCH offers a H0 scale flower cart. Our latest product test will reveal the pros and cons of the kit that consists of many very tiny parts. Furthermore, we will show a simple way to enhance the look of the cart.

23/12/2009 Merry Christmas!

2009 has almost passed - it has been an exhausting year that did not leave us much time for our wonderful hobby. Nevertheless, you surfed our website even more often than in 2008 - thank you very much!
We are just preparing some new interesting articles that will be published soon. So our miniature world will stay worth visiting in 2010.
Finally, we would like to wish you a merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.

27/10/2009 Spray booth and workbench

Sophisticated modelling can hardly be done without an airbrush. Unfortunately the paint spray tends to spread throughout the whole room, although using a spray booth smaller paintwork can be done inside buildings. But industrial solutions are quite expensive, so we decided to build a spray booth ourselves. Please find our step-by-step pictorial here.
Apart from that we made a handy and sturdy workbench from an old wooden chest.
Finally, we would like to show you another lovely passenger carriage from our rolling stock, the Cid21 by BRAWA. Some fantastic pictures are waiting for you!

05/02/2008 A new motor coach

We have got a new highlight in our rolling stock: A wonderful class VT642 motor coach! Apart from that you’ll find a brandnew report on Fleischmann’s ‘Profi’ couplings and some more pictures of Luigi's  ice cream parlour. There’s food available now!

06/01/2008 Layout construction work started

We began constructing our first layout and have already finished the substructure. To get lots of information please visit our model railway section.
Apart from that we added a beautiful steam loco to our rolling stock.

We wanted to have a car from Great Britain on our model railway layout. Of course it is not enough to put British number plates on a German model car - in the UK they have got their steering wheels on the right! Here you'll find a detailed pictorial on our modification

05/09/2007 ICE3 highspeed train complete

We are proud owners of a complete model train now: the German high speed ICE3. You'll find detailed information and lots of photographs in our rolling stock gallery. Furthermore our test of the NOCH model hedges is available in English now. Just read here and find out whether the hedges meet the needs of fastidious modellers. Just a few months after the successful launch of our German site
www.welt-im-modell.de now the English language version for international visitors is online! Well, most of our product tests
have not been translated to the English language yet.
